This coming weekend, October 24-25, Student Film League will be participating in the Wild West Film Fest Scare Factor 48 hour competition.
We are all very excited to be participating in this event. If you are interested in joining us, and have not spoken with either myself (Blue McNiel) or Johnny Eastlund, send an email to studentfilmleague@gmail.com and we’ll let you know what’s what. We’re going to try and meet before Friday so we can get things in order.
This Thursday evening the film Copyright Criminals will be showing at the Tivoli as apart of the Fall 2009 visiting directors series. Admission is free for UMKC students and staff and just $4 for all others. The director, Kembrew McLeod, will be doing a Q&A after the screening. Don’t miss it!
SFL will have a table set up in the lobby 30 minutes before the film begins in an attempt to get some pre-orders on our t-shirts:
